Hy-Vee Promotes Tony Kaska to Senior Vice President, Hy-Vee, Inc.; Chairman & CEO, Midwest Heritage

Hy-Vee, Inc. and Midwest Heritage are excited to share the promotion of Tony Kaska to Senior Vice President, Hy-Vee, Inc.; Chairman & CEO, Midwest Heritage.

“Tony has done a tremendous job leading Midwest Heritage,” said Aaron Wiese, President, Hy-Vee, Inc. “He has a solid vision of the opportunities ahead and a strategic plan to continue growth.”

Tony joined Midwest Heritage in 1992 as an assistant vice president responsible for consumer loans.  In 2001, Tony was promoted to senior vice president of retail lending and became a member of the bank’s executive committee. In 2002, Tony was promoted to executive vice president and senior lender.  In 2009, he was named assistant vice president, Hy-Vee, Inc.; president, chief executive officer, Midwest Heritage. In 2017, Tony was promoted to group vice president, Hy-Vee, Inc.; president, chief executive officer, Midwest Heritage, and in 2020, moved into his current role as vice president, Hy-Vee, Inc.; chairman of the board, chief executive officer, president, Midwest Heritage.

Tony is originally from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Northeast Missouri State. Tony furthered his education and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
